A cause is often greater than the Man; certainly, the spinning wheel is greater than myself; with it, in my opinion, is mixed up the well being of the whole mass of the Indian Humanity.
-M.K. GANDHI
Self-sufficiency and small scale industry is not a new popping term today, but its roots are based on various principles of Mahatma Gandhi and certain other legends. They directly or indirectly promoted small businesses in rural areas.
However, in the wake of COVID-19 both of our prestigious bodies of Government, Central, and State, have accorded unprecedented priority and taken a front seat in enhancing and improving the business environment in the current scenario by driving specific reforms to make the doing of business easy and smooth in the rural areas. Aatmnirbhar Sena is riding ahead with its warriors to assist the vision of the government.
Under Aatmnirbhar Sena, various schemes have taken a toll that mostly focuses on bringing reformation in the process of ease of doing business most effectively so as to bring more employment most independently. Not only this but Government is taking all possible steps so as to enhance the competitiveness of the industry by regularly monitoring it by various mechanisms which include:
The Government is ensuring that the reformations must reach the grassroots industries with long term strategies and short term measures.
Promoting the Single Window System (SWS) as an active part of rationalizing the procedures by minimizing the cost and time in the process of conducting business effectively.
Simplifying the process of registration and land acquisition by specific reforms.
The government should further take steps that reduce the regulatory burden of labor compliances.
Trade Facilitation has also been a dominant part of the reformation and has further been a landmark of specific improvements.
Apart from the measures mentioned above certain aids are also provided to help the rural crowd to promote small scale industries in the form of Financial assistance by offering microfinance to the informal sector, providing social security at the informal sector, loan at lower rates of interest, free legal aid, training programs, infrastructure & provide imported goods and machineries on the hire purchase agreement. Apart from all the steps which Government is already taking to promote goods produced as a result of small scale business, we as a responsible citizen and to bring to harmony the hard work of small business in rural areas, we should do our best to highlight their work and give them the recognition in the current scenario. It will not only motivate several unemployed young youths to work and contribute to the small scale industries but shall also contribute a big part in the economy of India.
Despite all the steps already taken by the Government of India, a particular paramount objective is yet to be acquired in promoting small businesses in rural areas. Still, the scope is left for improvement to let India achieve and come at Par with the best possible economies around the globe. Therefore, Aatmnirbhar Sena is coming into the picture.
