
Many people have lost their valuable lives to Coronavirus infection. Many children have also lost their parents and became orphans due to this epidemic. Mukhyamantri Covid-19 Jan Kalyan Yojana 2021 has been initiated by the government of Madhya Pradesh for all such children. Through this Yojana, a pension will be provided to the orphaned children.
The Chief Minister Covid-19 Jan Kalyan Scheme is an excellent initiative by Madhya Pradesh Government[1]. Under this Yojana, a pension of Rs. 5000 per month will be given to all children whose parents or guardian has succumbed to COVID-19. This pension amount will be provided till the child reaches the age of 21 years. In addition to this, education, as well as ration facility, will also be dispensed.
The benefit of this Yojana is concerned with uplifting all the children whose parents or guardian passed away due to Coronavirus infection between 1 March 2020 and 31 July 2021. The benefits of this Yojana can only be availed of by indigenous people of the state.
A 6 member committee has been formed in each district in order to implement Mukhyamantri COVID-19 Jan Kalyan Scheme. Those children whose parents have passed away after two months of treatment for Coronavirus infection will also receive benefits under Mukhyamantri Covid-19 Jan Kalyan Yojana. The pension granted under this scheme will be credited into the accounts of the beneficiaries.
