Mukhyamantri Covid-19 Jan Kalyan Yojana 2021 has been initiated by the government of Madhya Pradesh for all such children. Through this Yojana, a pension will be provided to the orphaned children.
The Chief Minister Covid-19 Jan Kalyan Scheme is an excellent initiative by Madhya Pradesh Government[1]. Under this Yojana, a pension of Rs. 5000 per month will be given to all children whose parents or guardian has succumbed to COVID-19. This pension amount will be provided till the child reaches the age of 21 years. In addition to this, education, as well as ration facility, will also be dispensed.
The benefit of this Yojana is concerned with uplifting all the children whose parents or guardian passed away due to Coronavirus infection between 1 March 2020 and 31 July 2021. The benefits of this Yojana can only be availed of by indigenous people of the state.
A 6 member committee has been formed in each district in order to implement Mukhyamantri COVID-19 Jan Kalyan Scheme. Those children whose parents have passed away after two months of treatment for Coronavirus infection will also receive benefits under Mukhyamantri Covid-19 Jan Kalyan Yojana. The pension granted under this scheme will be credited into the accounts of the beneficiaries.

Mukhyamantri Covid-19 Jan Kalyan Yojana has been brought into light by the Government of Madhya Pradesh.

Free educational facilities will be dispensed to the children of Madhya Pradesh from first grade to PhD.

The main objective of Mukhyamantri COVID-19 Jan Kalyan Yojana is to lend financial aid to all the children whose parents & guardians became the victim of Covid-19 infection and lost their lives. Under this initiative, all those children will be reaping a monthly pension of Rs. 5000 till they touch the age of 21 years so that they can meet their fundamental needs of survival. Through Mukhyamantri Covid-19 Jan Kalyan Scheme, the children of the state will get a sense of self-reliance, and they won’t have to depend on others. They will be able to satisfy their basic requirements with this money. Along with this, the government is all set to dispense free education as well as ration facilities to the children.
Education-related Facility & Application to Beneficiary Children
Even if there is no fulfilment of eligibility criteria of Covid-19 Jan Kalyan Yojana, the government will be providing ration as well as free of cost education from students of the first class to PhD.
All children from first to eighth grade will be imparted knowledge in private schools under RTI, and after ninth grade and further education will be provided in government schools.
All higher education institutes, as well as technical education institutes, will not receive any admission fee from such students.
Furthermore, financial assistance of Rs. 1500 every month will be delivered to all children as a subsistence allowance.
Children under this scheme will gain a conveyance allowance of up to Rs. 500 per month for postgraduate courses.
Applications under Mukhyamantri Covid-19 Jan Kalyan Yojana 2021 can be made via the Municipal Corporation Commissioner in the urban region, CMO in Municipality/Municipal Council & CEO of Janpad Panchayat in rural parts of the state.
Approval of the Yojana will be given by a committee constituted under the governance and supervision of the Collector.

At an initial level, you should go to Municipal Corporation Commissioner Office, or to the office of CMO or CEO of Janpad Panchayat.
After that, you would have to obtain the application form in order to apply under this scheme.
Thereafter, you would have to furnish all the information inquired in the application form, such as your mobile number, name, email ID, etc.
Now, you need to append all the essential documents from the application form.
Then, you would have to submit this application to the Municipal Commissioner Office, or the office of CMO or CEO of Janpad Panchayat.

Eligibility Criteria
It’s important for an application to be in a league of permanent residents of MP State.
The beneficiary’s family must not be already receiving the benefit of any government pension.
The applicant should be below the mark of 21 years of age.
The beneficiary shouldn’t be getting any benefit from CM COVID-19 Yoddha Kalyan Yojana.
