
Every day we all are facing new challenges due to COVID-19 Pandemic and the infection caused by the virus. Many children in our country have lost either one or both parents due to coronavirus infection. About 197 such children have been recognized whose parents have passed away, and 1799 such children have been recorded whose one of the parents is no more. Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana has been commenced by the Uttar Pradesh government for the welfare of all such children.
Through this Yojana, along with financial assistance, various other facilities will also be rendered to these children with a mission that these children will be able to earn and survive through these facilities.
Through this Yojana, all those children whose parents have died because of the COVID-19 infection will receive numerous benefits. This scheme has been initiated on 30 May 2021 by the CM of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath Ji. Through this Yojana, financial assistance will be granted to the children. In addition to this, the expenses related to their education and marriage will be borne by the U.P. Government.
Under Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana, financial aid of Rs. 4000 will be granted to the child or his guardian for the proper upbringing of the children. Besides this, financial assistance will further be granted for the marriage of girls via this initiative by UP Government. If the age of the child is not more than 10 years and they don’t have any guardian as well, then they will be endowed with the residential facility in the Rajkiya Bal Griha. A separate residential facility will be rendered to the girls and all those children who are pursuing their education in school as well as college. They will be receiving laptop/tablet under this Yojana.

Every month, financial assistance of Rs. 4000 will be granted to all eligible beneficiaries via Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana 2021. Uttar Pradesh Government will provide financial assistance till the child becomes an adult. This financial aid will be for the care and welfare of the child.
Besides this, all the children whose age is about ten years or even less and don’t have any guardian will receive residential facility by the UP Government through CM Bal Seva Yojana. This residential service will be delivered to them by rendering them accommodation in Government Children’s Home and ensuring that all children will be cared for. Presently, there are about 5 Rajkiya Bal Griha in Uttar Pradesh which is situated in Prayagraj, Agra, Mathura, Lucknow, and Rampur.
Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana was initiated to render financial support to the children who lost their guardians, unfortunately, due to a coronavirus infection. It has also been determined to grant benefits to ITI trainees through this scheme, concerning which the eligibility condition was circulated on June 8, 2021, via the Principal of the Government Industrial Training Institute i.e., Dr. Naresh Kumar. Tablet, laptop, financial assistance for marriage as well as monthly assistance will be granted to all eligible recipients. ITI trainees who wish to obtain the benefits associated with this Yojana would have to proceed ahead for applying in the nodal ITI of their concerned district.
