In early times, most of the farmers used to get the power supply only in the night. This reason made the farmers stay awake all night to water their agricultural produce. Staying up the whole night has also always troubled the farmers as they faced incidents where wild animals troubled them. So, to avoid the power supply problem at the night, supplying it in the day time, and make the irrigation process easy, Kisan Suryoday Yojana came into existence.
